  Safety Tips

On the Road:

* Do not walk in or frequent deserted or lonely areas.

* Do not expose cash/jewellery unnecessarily in public places.

* Do not hitch hike.

* Do not leave luggage, cameras, etc., in open view in your car unattended. Place them in the trunk. If you are using a mini moke take the valuables with you.

* Do not place valuables in the back seat of the mini moke whilst out driving.

* Plan your route, if possible, travel well lighted and well travelled roads.

* If you have to ask for directions, go to the police or if available ask preferably an elderly person.

On the Beach:

Barbados has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and we would want you to enjoy them but we would also want you to be careful.

* Avoid deserted and lonely beaches.

* Do not take valuables to the beach and leave them unattended. If you must, make sure someone is responsible for the security whilst others are in the water.
