Tax free shopping in Bridgetown and the Cruise Terminal

The good news is that duty free items cost 30%-50% less than in US and European stores. The island's largest department store, Cave Shepherd, has been the place to shop on Broad Street since it opened in 1906. The world's leading perfume and cosmetic houses are admirably represented there. They have recently opened an outstanding Calvin Klein department. The designer name clothing, such as, Tommy Hilfiger, Liz Clairborne, Levi's and Dockers, is very tempting because of the unbelievable tax-free prices. Infact, everything is there, at fantastic prices including good departments for sunglasses, island crafts, photography, music, books, leather, china, crystal, liquor and tobacco. Of special interest is the walk in humidor with an interesting selection of cigars, including Cuban.
